By using the acornest website and purchasing our products, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Pricing & Payments

Grand Opening Event: We are currently running a special Grand Opening Event!
Online Exclusive: All prices listed on acornest are exclusive to our online store.
Currency & Pricing: All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) by default. However, US customers may switch the currency option to view and complete payments in USD. The final amount in USD is automatically converted based on the current exchange rate at checkout.
Order Accuracy: In the event of inventory shortages, acornest reserves the right to modify or cancel any part of your order. If an item is unavailable and removed from your order, you will not be charged for that item.

2. Returns and Refunds

How to Return:
- We will always do our best to cooperate and assist you with your return.
- Generally, we have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
- Please submit a return request via our online “Return” form, including clear details and photos of the item.
- Once approved, you will need to mail the item back to us at the address provided in your approval confirmation (acornest is an online-only store operating from the GTA area).
- Items must include all original accessories, manuals, and packaging. If a gift was included with the returned item, you must return it as well. Missing items may result in a partial or denied refund.
Refunds:
- Order Cancellation: You may cancel your order within 60 minutes after it is placed for a full refund.
- Post-Delivery Refund Application: You may apply for a refund within 24 hours after receiving your goods. Normally, we need 1–7 business days to process your application. Once confirmed via email, you can proceed to mail the goods back to us.
- Shipped Orders & Handling Fee: If your order has already been shipped, you will need to wait until you have received it. We will issue a refund as soon as the goods are returned in an intact and/or unused condition, with a $15 handling fee deducted from your refund.
- Processing Time: Refunds will be issued to your original payment method and processed within approximately 7–10 business days.
- General Terms: Discounts, coupons, and shipping fees are non-refundable. The final refund amount will not exceed the original amount paid.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items:
- Certain items cannot be returned, including perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom or personalized products, and personal care goods (such as beauty products).
- We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, gases, sale items, or gift cards.
Return Courier Cost: Customers are responsible for all return packaging and shipping costs.

3. Delivery and Inspection

Delivery Method: acornest provides delivery via Canada Post or professional courier services. We do not offer in-person store pickup.
Delivery Fees:
- Within Canada: We offer free standard delivery on all orders over $39 CAD (before tax).
- To the United States: We offer free standard delivery on all orders over $39 USD.
- Orders under these thresholds, heavy/oversized items, or shipments to certain remote areas in both Canada and the US may incur additional shipping charges calculated at checkout.
Inspection: Please inspect your package and contents carefully upon arrival. Please contact us to report any damage or missing items within 3 days of delivery.
Liability: If you authorize the courier to leave your order at your door without a signature, acornest cannot be held liable for any damages, missing items, or theft.

4. Privacy and Security

Data Collection: acornest collects personal information (name, address, email, browsing data, etc.) necessary to process your orders and improve your experience.
Privacy: We respect your privacy. By using our site, you consent to the collection and use of your information by acornest and our authorized third-party service providers (such as payment processors).
Security: We prioritize your data security and utilize industry-standard protections. However, no transmission over the internet is 100% secure. By using our site, you acknowledge that acornest is not responsible for data breaches beyond our reasonable control. In the event of a breach, we will cooperate with legal authorities.
